James Elie Jennings , Jr. was born on February 4, 1945 to Mabel L. Jennings and James Elie Jennings, Sr in Little Rock, Arkansas.

James served his country in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970  as a Fuels Specialist.

April 30, 1971 James married Lestine Crenshaw in Reno, Nevada and from their union they birthed their only child Rachelle Denise Jennings. They divorced years later but remained friends. Lestine Jennings – Crenshaw  passed away July 2, 1991.

James was a hard working man and whenever had the opportunity to work extra hours he would. He was also a big fan of the local Cleveland teams; Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Indians.

The Lord called James home on November 9, 2023. James is survived by his daughter Rachelle Denise Jennings. His sisters Christine Carter, Frankie Crichlow, Grace Jennings, Esther Carter, Brother Larry Jennings and Brother Eddy Jennings (Deceased). His Nieces and Nephews: Vickie Carter, Jason Carter, Emmett Harris III (Deceased) Tracy Critchlow, Carl Green, Reginald Carter III, Aliyah Carter and great nieces and nephews: Shawn Jennings, Saleena Gipson and Alan Jennings and a host of great nieces and nephews.

James Elie Jennings, Jr. will be missed by all who knew and loved him!
