James Edward Williams was born on Oct 14, 1949, in Biloxi, Mississippi, to the late parents of Carolyn Walker (mother) deceased and the late Leon Williams Sr. (father) deceased.
They eventually moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where he got a good job, working at Midland Steel for many years. He eventually met our mom (llene Johnson and soon married her on June 21, 1973, where they shared 37 years of marriage together, right here in Cleveland, Ohio.
He retired early from Midland Steel and they soon moved to Lawrenceville, GA in 2009 to Live with their youngest son Melvin and Pam, for warmer weather, after his wife’s 60th birthday where they enjoyed their lives together for another 10 years.
They had 47 years of marriage together, until her untimely death in Jan 26, 2020. He loved his music and playing cards, especially his favorites, Bid Wiz and Spades.
James loved cooking and barbecuing, he also love to travel with his wife, and yeah don’t forget his Lottery Tickets by the stacks. One thing he would never forget about is MONEY, he also earned a few nicknames, being the happy person that he always was, like Main (said in Mommy Voice), Doc and Blood, given his favorite color was RED.
