On Thursday, November 12, 2020 James opened his eyes and transcended to our Heavenly Father.

James leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory his mother, Georgia Harris; step-mother, Rosa Harris;

Four brothers: Joseph Harris (Barbara), Jerry Harris, Nelson Harris, and Jammie Harris; five sisters, Louise Brown(Donnie), Sonya Harris, Wanda Collins (Ernest) and Bethina Harris.

Four daughters, Khyra Harris, Simone Harris, Brandi Harris (Kiyana), and India Austin.

Three granddaughters, Kelsey, Sydney, and London.

Four grandsons, Johnell, Tristian, Steven III, and Stephon.

James leaves behind his significant other of seven years Pamela Rance.

Best friend and mother of two of his daughters Karen Moore, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceded him in death are his father, James Harris Sr.; sister, Jammie Harris; granddaughter, Yasmir A. Harris, and fiancé Beverly Mahone.

Miss you and love you daddy ???

You were my go to person when ever I need an ear and I was yours. You grew to be a man with more wisdom than you knew you had. It was a joy to watch you with your daughters, granddaughters, family and friends. I want to say "Thank You" for giving me the daughters of unique talents. Khyra, Simone, Brandi and India know that he cherished it one of you. Kelsey and Sydney he adored your. He loved taking you to Denny's and you made sure you got you weekend money. I want you all to know he always kept up with his sisters and brothers and extended family members best he could and you. No matter what he is up there being our guardian angel. You may miss him now but you will see him in time.
