James Thurman Hobbs, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2021. James Thurman Hobbs, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2021.
James is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Doris; children, James Bernard Hobbs, Sheila Hobbs, Deborah Hobbs-Davis, Ernest Hobbs, Selisa Bayless (Mason), Sabrina Funk (Tobias), Derrick Hobbs; brother, Roosevelt Hobbs; twenty grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one brother Roosevelt, and a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
James was preceded in death by his parents Minnie Lee and Benford Hobbs, siblings Bennie, Jhonnie-Bell and Bill, and his eldest daughter Yelonda.
