Janice Elaine (Jackson) Richardson was born September 16, 1947 and crossed the bridge of life into eternity on November 21, 2017.

Janice graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Akron Practical School of Nursing and University of Akron.  Janice was an LPN for over 30 years.  Janice enjoyed cooking, jazz, traveling and shopping.  She had a great love for fashion, perfume and jewelry.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Richardson Jr; parents, Noel and Alver Jackson; siblings, Joe, Nema and Noel (Butch) Jackson.

Janice is survived by her daughters, Kelly and Libra Richardson; special nephew Jerome Jackson; grandchildren, Alexandria Mayle, Brandon Richardson, Isaiah Swain and Brooke Cheatwood; great granddaughter, Elizabeth Mayle; surviving siblings, Maggie Coston, Lillian (Penny) Jackson of Akron, OH, Ivan (Ruby) Jackson of Pickerington, OH; in-laws, Ivan (Betsy) Richardson of Spartanburg, SC, Nadine Bates, Akron, OH, Natalie (Edger) Miller Cleveland, OH, Miriam Smith Barberton, OH; extended family, Dr. Adolph Harper Jr., JoAnn Ana, Angela, Adolph III and Arista Harper, Adria Harper of Akron, OH; special friends, Vera Thomsik, Rinata Hill, Sandy Carter and a host of family and friends.  A special thank you to Kawanna Edwards and Kesha Spear for caring for Janice in her last days and a special thank you to the Hospice Team at Cleveland Clinic.
