It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Javeir Stewart, who departed this life at the tender age of 17.
Javeir was a bright, kind-hearted young man whose smile could light up any room. His sense of humor, creative spirit, and compassionate nature made him a cherished son, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, and classmate. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories we hold of him are timeless.
Before becoming a father at 16 and while still in high school, Javier took it upon himself to find work and do everything he could to grow, to improve, and to show up for those he loved. He worked hard, always striving to be better and do better—not just for himself, but for his family and future. He became a proud father to his son, Javari, born on September 14, 2023, and was excitedly awaiting the arrival of his second son, Jaceir, due in September 2025. His dedication to fatherhood at such a young age was a reflection of his strength, maturity, and love.
Javeir had many interests and hobbies such as music, and sports, and he always approached life with enthusiasm and curiosity. He had dreams as big as his heart, and he brought joy and pride to those who were blessed to know him.
Javeir is preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Mariah Harris, whose memory he held close to his heart.
Javeir is survived by his loving parents Shaquilia Harris and James Stewart, his siblings Jahkiya Stewart, Jy’zeer Harris Jamiyonna Stewart, Javonte Stewart, Jayshawnte Stewart, Jayvonne Stewart, Jaida Stewart, JayDonne Stewart, Jay’de Stewart, JaKari Stewart, Javon Stewart, J’Dior Stewart, Jameson Stewart,, his sons Javari and Jaceir his grandparents, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
