Jayla was born on April 15, 2002, in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Jacqueline Jackson and Charles Meredith. During her formative years she went to Heartstone elementary school in Louisville, Kentucky. During her formative years she went to Heartstone elementary school in Louisville, Kentucky. Jayla went to Moore Traditional for middle school and some high school. When she relocated back to Cleveland she graduated from Cleveland Heights High School.
Jayla aspired to be in the healthcare field. Jayla completed her certification for EKG at Med Cert. Jayla was the tenth grandchild of Wilma and David Jackson. She enjoyed cooking, reading and comedy. Jayla was full of life and loved people. Children were drawn to her nurturing sweet and caring personality. Jayla was outspoken and was not afraid to speak her mind.
Jayla leaves behind her beloved brother Curtis Simpson a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and her furbaby pepper.
