I had the pleasure of meeting Geegi as she and my son Chaz become very good friends in a short period of time. I could tell that she had a beautiful, & caring spirit. Chaz would often call me and then get a call from Geegi. He would say "Mom, this is Geegi, I'll call you right back", needless to say that did not happen!!! He and Geegi would talk for hours (smile). I will keep the family in my prayers.

Condolences to the family of this beautiful woman. I met Jeanetta at the dental office. What a blessing she has been to me in the short time that I have known her. She taught me how to play the lottery. She would often come in and tell me how she had won the lottery. Whenever she came in, it felt like I was in the presence of Royalty. I loved seeing and talking to Jeanetta and am looking forward to seeing her again in heaven?

A style of her own, exuding glamour and grace, Ms. Doby's presence was never ignored, just enjoyed. Though young in her departure, she fulfilled a federal career in service to the Veteran community and was in excellent fellowship with co-workers; she'll be remembered, she'll be missed.

Oh Geegi.. my fellow Leo buddy, my friend. How many times did we talk personally and online about things. You will always my my sister from another mother. You used to keep me on my toes to stop me getting depressed and about family and work. You were a trainee first, a friend after and sister at the end. What a wonderful soul . I have never met anyone with her many special gifts .She had it all brains , beauty , personality , sense of humor , kindness and talent . I hadn't seen Jeanette in years but I met her at the VA when she first started .I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet her and spend time with her . I had never met anyone that every time I saw her I would start to smile instantly because I knew she would say or do something that would make me laugh . May her spirt live on in those that knew and loved her . She completed her earthly purpose in touching so many lives .. Continue your eternal journey you will never be forgotten

You were the best coworker and friend that anyone could ask for. You were an angel on Earth and now you are an angel in Heaven. Love you forever!

It was always a pleasure to stop and talk with Jeanetta! The chats always included a hearty laugh about something! She will absolutely be missed! Peace and blessings to the family.

I passed by her desk on a daily basis before she started to work from home, she'd have conversation about the issues of the day and in turn would find a solution to carry her through. She gave a particular joy to my daily route, she will surely be missed. The route won't be the same without her. My sincerest condolence to the family.

Doby my girl. From the first day I entered into the VA family she was my family. She took me under her wing and helped me get thru. She could convince anyone to join any club. You will truly be missed. Your enthusiasm, smile and constant joy keeps me from crying.

My heart breaks for the loss of such a beautiful person. Jeannetta always had a kind word, welcomed everyone with her smile, cared for those around her and went above and beyond without ever being asked to do so. She always made me feel welcome at VA events and groups. I know she took extra special care of Will while doing her very best job for the VA each and every day. I always called her J-Dob!! We met when the VA had just opened the call center and I would say we were friends from the very first few days. She was always (in my experience) such a joy to talk to, with quick wit and 99% of our conversations resulted in smiling and laughter. I have remarked to several others since hearing of her passing, that she was always very nice and very sweet to me, and I have never forgotten her kindness, nor will I. She worked at the Federal Building downtown Cleveland, OH and we would pass each other in the hallway and speak to each other all the time. He smile just made my day. Very pretty and bubbly. R.I.P. Angel.

It was a privilege to get to know you better when we were in Baltimore a few years back and I cherish the conversations we had about our mother and children. Your energy, positivity and strength is something i will always remember. You are loved and will be missed.

My Condolence to her family--I met Jeanetta about 10 years ago and she was always the bright light in the room-I enjoyed every second partying with her. Every event she hosted was A1-she will be missed dearly.

Geegi I will miss you so much... I'm thinking back on all your words of wisdom and humor. I will miss you greeting me in the tone that was uniquely yours and me yelling Diva. Your humor no one can match, you had such a way with words, you could not help but laugh even in a serious moment. You always put other people needs before your own. You truly displayed a servant's heart for people and always rose to the occasion to lend a helping hand. I can hear God saying now, "Well done my good and faithful servant". I will miss you my friend and sister. Forever in my heart and praying for your family, especially Nick. Rest in peace God's angel.

I have known Jeanetta since 1988. She has always been a very good friend since we met. Jeanetta has always been there to help me get through rough times. We were always there for each other, and I miss her so much. She always made me smile and happy, and I enjoyed being with her. I will love her forever. I want to send my condelences to the entire Doby Family. May GOD comfort and hold all of you close in your time of need.

Thank you Gee for allowing me to be your pastor. You gave me the greatest gift one could give a pastor, your trust. You will remain in memories and heart.
