Jeffrey Alan Hall, age 54, passed away on January 15, 2023.
Jeffrey Alan Hall, age 55, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, January 15, 2023. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 29, 1968. He was the son of Lawrence O. Hall and late Shirley M. Hall and the brother of Michael Hall.
The family moved to Warrensville Heights at an early age, where Jeffrey attended Warrensville Public Schools. While living in Warrenville he met and remain in touch with his dearest friend/brother (Norman) lifelong friend and they both played baseball for their school and community. After school Jeff and his crew “ Tick Tivity” could be seen dancing in the neighborhood or Dee Jaying at his cousin’s apartment.
After graduation, Jeffrey immediately entered the workforce. Jeffrey held several jobs (Fed X, Nicholson Warehouse, Circuit City) before finding his career as a skilled laborer in sheet metal and fabrication for Conn-Selmer, where he worked for over 20 years. During his time at Con-Selmer he developed a strong friendship with his coworkers and participated in their yearly corporate challenges anytime he had a chance. After work, Jeff loved to spend time bowling with his family and friends, where he bowled for “Sunday Morning Trio” and “Gesu Bowling” Leagues. During football season, you could catch him with his friends playing fantasy football on a team called “Waterboys”.
During his time bowling, Jeffrey met, romanced and fell in love with Marcella Hall and they were married several years later on June 19, 1999. This marriage was blessed with 2 children Marcus and Marri Hall and his oldest son Brendon Hall. Marcella exposed Jeffrey to a world outside of Cleveland and bowling. They set sail for a lifelong adventure that took them to 43 states and over 3 countries. He loved to travel with his family by plane, trains and automobiles. His favorite place to visit in the states was Universal Studios and abroad was Mexico. For the holidays, they would travel to West Virginia frequently to celebrate with his family. This was a time for good eating, fireworks spectacular provided by his cousin “Curtis” and road street partin’ in Hemphill West Virginia. If Jeff was not in WV or traveling, he would be found hosting some of the best backyard parties with his wife where his cousin/brother “Danny” would Dee Jay.
People who knew Jeff knew Danny. They had a strong “bromanship”. They were more than 1st cousins they were brothers. Both families did everything together. Jeff was best known for wearing his baseball caps, his generosity, kind heart, easy to like, full of spirit, his big smile and occasionally doing the warm at parties. Jeff would spend his last dollar to help people in need and on his beloved daughter “ Mari-ba-dari” and that he loved the best losing football team in the league “The Chicago Bears.”
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Shirley M. Hall, his fathers-in- law, Warren Williams Jr,. and Dewey Adams. He leaves a lifetime cherished memories to his loving wife, his yen to her yang, Marcella (Sonya/Cella) Hall, three children, Brendon (Mariah) Hall of Henderson Nevada, Marcus Hall and Marri Hall of Gates Mills, Ohio, His father Lawrence Hall, a great aunt Louise Gill of Cleveland, Ohio , Mother-in-law Donna (Dewey), his brother Michael (Robyn) Hall, three brothers in law, Randy (Eileen) Williams, Duane (Jennifer) Adams, and Kevin Adams of Cleveland Ohio, two sisters-n law Jaureen Williams and Kish Sutherland, his nieces Aimee Hall, Allison Hall, Maya Hall from Arizona, His 1st cousin/brother Danny Lindsey, and his five children that were his nieces; Ashley Lindsey, Sydney (Monica) Lindsey, Mikayla Lindsey, Danise Lindsey and nephew Charles Lindsey; great nephews Eili Moore and Maurice Lindsey, and a host of cousins and friends
