He is survived by his sons, Aubrey Von Martin, Avery Ty Carter and their mother, Terri L. Carter; beloved sister, Rebecca (James) Glass-DeShazor; brothers, Johnny Martin, Tony Martin, Mark Glass, and James Edward Glass Jr.; cousins, Douglas Wright and Sharon Shell; aunt, Lillian Wright; best friends, Tom Shelton and Derrick Jones; long-time partner, Velma Henderson, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
