Jeniffer Marie Cloyd Martin affectionately known as “Jenny” or “Jenny Slim” was born in Welch, WV June 19, 1956, to Eugene Cloyd Sr and Ramona Cloyd. Jenny was the fifth child born to the late Ramona H. Cloyd and Eugene W. Cloyd Sr. Jenny along with the family moved to Cleveland Oh in 1961. She accepted Christ at an early age at The Cleveland Church of Christ under Bishop James Haughton. It was then she went to Cleveland Public Schools. Jenny was a very intelligent child that enjoyed learning, fashion, cooking, singing and caring for others. She worked in the healthcare and cosmetology field before meeting the love of her life Robert Stackhouse Martin a.k.a “Bobby” on June 13, 1997. Jenny and Bobby enjoyed thirteen wonderful years together until Bobby succumbed to his illness with her never leaving his side. Jenny enjoyed spending time with family, especially her two children Tawanna Cloyd and Anthony Gaither. Tawanna and Anthony (Bud) gave Jenny 4 beautiful grandchildren Jasmine, Kailynn, Caleb and Shane.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bobby, Eugene Cloyd Sr (Father), Ramona Cloyd (Mother), Eugene Cloyd Jr (Brother), Gisele Weaver (Sister), Eugene “Stosh” Cloyd III (Nephew).

She leaves to cherish her memory her children Tawanna and Anthony (Bud), grandchildren Jasmine, Kailynn, Caleb, and Shane. Her siblings, Michael, Charlene, Darrell (Laphenie), Gregory, Mark and Bobby. With a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
