Jereginal Jerome Morgan was born to the late Ed Howard and Pauline Morgan on June 24, 1957. Jereginal was known as Reggie, Jerome, and Wordy. While living in Heidelberg, Mississippi, at an early age, he was baptized and confessed Jesus as his Lord and Savior at Wesley Chapel AME Church.

Reggie was educated at Southside and Heidelberg High School. Upon completion of high school in 1977, he then moved to Cleveland, Ohio, to continue his life.

Up until his death, he served as a member of Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church as an ordained deacon.

For over 30 years, Reggie was employed at Montefiore Nursing Home, where he met a lot of wonderful people who eventually became close friends and family.

Reggie leaves behind three children: Ieasha Morgan-Harris (son-in-law, Jesse), Cleveland, Ohio; Jereginal D. Morgan (daughter-in-law, Stephanie), Cleveland, Ohio; and Christen Ross, Detroit, Michigan.

He also leaves seven grandchildren: Arielle, Jariah, Helena, twins Christen Jr. and Chistianna, Cavelle, and Caylee.

He also leaves his mom, Pauline Morgan, Heidelberg, MS; 14 siblings: Reba Beaty, Dallas, TX; Charles Morgan (Essie, sister-in-law), Heidelberg, MS; Eddie Morgan (Diane), Heidelberg, MS; Dwane Morgan, Heidelberg, MS; Verlina Forthner (Donald), Heidelberg, MS; Paulette Barnett, Heidelberg, MS; Sandra Morgan-Johnson (Willie), Houston, TX; Helen Morgan-Jones (Eddie), Heidelberg, MS; sister-in-law Janice Gavin (preceded in death, brother Darryl Wayne Morgan), Heidelberg, MS; Christopher Morgan, Heidelberg, MS; Alicia Morgan Jenkins (Freely), Houston, TX; Howard Lee Morgan (Johnetta), Houston, TX; Michael Morgan (Juanita), Ellisville, MS; and Tina Morgan-Evans (Harrison), Heidelberg, MS. He also leaves a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Reggie did not mind praising the Lord, spending time with family and friends, and doing what he could to help anyone he could.
