Jerry was always the guy with a smile. We often started off our mornings saying hello and checking in on each other as we went off to work. He truely cared about me and our other neighbors, always offering support. I was so fortunate to have known him. Sending my sympathies to the entire family.

Call me by my old familiar name, Speak to me in the easy way which you always used Put no difference in your tone, Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was, Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, Just around the corner. All is well.

Jerry was such a kind neighbor and always had a smile on his face. He truly loved his wife, his family, and his dog, and he enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed.

Jerry’s was a selfless leader who gave his talent and gifts freely to those in need. His level of compassion and understanding is rare today and reminds me what humanity really is. Jerry, has always been a loyal and dedicated lil brother to me. He was the baby of the bunch, and every one of us loved him. He was funny, smart, and thoughtful. His mom absolutely adored him, kept him well dressed, close to home, and focused. Glory to God for His willingness to share His child Jerry with us, seemingly for a short while. Today, we come as humbly as we know how to ask God to place our Angel to watch over us. Jeffro (Jerry), I am going to miss you. I love you Bro. Until we meet again my brother may you get your rest.
