Jevon Summers was born June 2, 1993, in Akron, Ohio to Kathleen Spragling and Vance Summers. Jevon attended Seiberling Elementary School, Goodyear Middle School, and East High School. Jevon was a God-fearing man. He worked as a Tow Operator at Melvin’s Customs Towing. As a youth, Jevon loved his family. Overall, he loved to freehand draw portraits, cook, and play baseball and basketball. He also loved to go fishing and gardening, which was two of the favorite past times of his late grandparents, Melvin and Rose Spragling.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin and Rose Spragling; grandmother, Shirley Summers; and special uncle, Emmanuel Lockett.
Jevon leaves to celebrate his life and memories, his mother whom he considered the love of his life forever, Kathleen; his father, Vance; siblings, Darshawn Spragling, Kellie Spear, Jasmine Spragling, Vance Summers, Jr., and Lauren Summers; a host of nieces and nephews; special aunts, Nette Sprangling, Juanita Hundley-Tucker, Sally, and Lorease Spragling; special uncle, William; special cousins, Melissa Horn-Sales, Veronica Bagley, Shannon King, Stefan King, Shala King, Aleeah King, Dionna Moore, Keysha, Savannah, Erica, Michael, and Martel; special friends, Tanny, Jaquay, Terence Toyer, Constanel Witherspoon, and Rahim.
