Jimmy Lee Floyd passed away April 19, 2018.
Jimmy was born on May 16, 1937, in Evergreen, Alabama, to his now deceased mother Annie Ruth Cheatam.
Jimmy’s early childhood and education were spent in Akron City and he attended South High School where he graduated. Jimmy’s religious preference was Methodist and he enjoyed the African Culture, sitting amongst his friends at McDonald’s.
He worked in Distribution, shipping and receiving until retiring from Aircraft Braking (Meggit).
As a young adult, Jimmy’s favorite pass time was Karate, Judo and playing football.
He was married to Carolyn Ware and from that union Kayto Floyd; stepdaughter Danice; grandchildren, Keisha, Rhea, Sydnee, and Kay-el Floyd, Monte’ Alesha; great-grandchildren, Delancio, Bella Rose and True, his best friend Wiz and a host of friends and family.
