Joan, Even though you are no longer with us in the physical, you are certainly with us in Spirit. You leave a legacy of Love, Strength, Courage, Determination, Endurance, Devotion and so many other wonderful attributes. You were an advocate for those who needed a voice. You were an inspiration for us all as an example of what it means to never ever give up. You were an example of the Faith that moves mountains. Your lightheartedness encouraged people to want to listen to what you had to say and then be blessed by your pearls of wisdom and by that rather unique sense of humor. Thanks from us all at Arbor Glen. God bless you on your journey. Love ya. To the family, may you be surrounded by God's Infinite Love and Eternal Peace now and always.

To David & Dakota, and our Family... My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you, not just today, but always. Auntie Joan is greatly missed and will "never" be forgotten. I'm grateful to God for our special relationship, which she also maintained with many others, but with each an individual experience. Her warm smile, bubbly personality and vibrant spirit lingers with me. I'll cherish our plethora of conversations full of laughter and giggles, yet also full of God's word and wisdom. We were blessed to have a front row seat to observe God's glory and power as he touched her life, made her a true living miracle (more than once) and then transformed her into a mighty witness and willing servant for his Kingdom. I'll holding on to all the good times and wonderful memories that will keep me smiling in my heart. Cousins, be sure to hold to God's unchanging hand when your hearts get heavy and the days are lonesome. God will hold you up with his right hand!!! Love... Always, Robbin

Dear David and Dakota: My Deepest Condolences. I would have been there if not for the current shelter in place policy in LA. Dear Joan, I will see you again when the trumpet of the Lord sounds and He wakes you up with a big shout following the ring tone “Turn Down For Wfat?!!!” . Before then, I will sure miss you a lot in every future Odyssey event..Love from Wanee-Pooh

Joan has been my sister friend since we met on the Obama campaign trail. She loved to laugh and she loved her family. She was so proud of her friends and her church. She was a tireless advocate for anyone in need. It was a precious friendship. I will miss her.
