JoAnn Bronaugh passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018.
Joann McKinley Bronaugh was born December 15, 1938 in Jefferson County, Birmingham, Alabama. Born to Willie Mae Harris McKinley then adopted by Robert & Louise Coffin.
Joann later relocated to Barberton, Ohio Joann only completed the eighth grade and then became a teen mother. Joann attended Galilee Baptist Church. Later she moved to Columbus, Ohio then to Akron, Ohio where she attended First Apostolic First Place Church. Joann worked as a bar maid for several years and then went on to work for a janitorial service and was injured on the job. Joann married Henry Gervins, then later married Virgil Bronaugh.
Joann really enjoyed collecting pictures. She also like to play cards (pity pat) and also loved Bingo.
JoAnn is preceded in death by Berlyn and Darlene Gervins.
Joann is survived by daughters Denise Polland, Yolanda Richerson, and son Samuel Gervins. Nine grandchildren, 26 Great grandchildren and Ten great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
