JoAnn Linson 78, passed away on February 21, 2022, at her home in Warrensville Heights, OH. She was born on November 14, 1943, in Jackson MS to Joseph Cobb and Elizabeth Cobb (Grey).
JoAnn grew up in Jackson, MS. She graduated from East High School in Cleveland, Ohio in 1961. After high school she studied Radiology at, Cleveland General Hospital in Cleveland, OH. When she completed her studies, she received her certificate as a Registered X-Ray Technology in 1969. Later t become one of the first Black woman to work for the Department of Veterans Affairs. She retired in 2010 after working for forty years and received numerous promotions.
She enjoyed Sewing, Spending countless time with her sister, Beverly. Traveling with friends, taking pictures, and spending unconditional time with her granddaughter. JoAnn accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. JoAnn was proceeded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth, and her brothers, Joe Lee and Earl.
JoAnn is survived by her sons; Robert Linson Jr. and Gregory Linson; her sister Beverly Robinson. Her Loving grand daughter Aalayah Linson. And a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives
