Joanne Hill, born September 18th, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio to Dorothy Bell Hill, who proceeded her in death and Abraham Williams, who also proceeded her in death along with Johnny Gamble, who she also called dad. Joanne grew up in the East 138th Union/Kinsman area where she attended John F. Kennedy and received her high school Diploma and advanced to Community College. She received her certificate in which she became a corrections officer. She was the kind of woman that loved her job telling people and the inmates. Joanne worked in this position, completing 20 years of service, where she then retired.
Joanne was a no nonsense kind of woman that loved to plant flowers and working around the house. She was a woman who loved, loved, loved her some good music to bounce to. She also had the voice to sing that she would use when joining her 2 daughters Jolanda Hill and Kwuan Hill-Blue as they would get her going. She was loving, fun, caring, and a fighter and sometimes could be a pistol if necessary (LoL) She also loved to hang out with family. She had a huge heart and took in many as if they were her own. Her greatest joy were her 3 grandchildren Emma, Adam, and Victory Blue She loved taking them on different types of outings and fun events. Joanne loved life and living it. She was funny, charismatic, opinionated, stern, loving, kind, gentle, giving and she had no filter. She will be deeply missed.
Joanne leaves to cherish in memory her two loving daughters, Jolanda Hill and Kwuan Hill -Blue (Adam blue Sr.) and grandchildren Adam Blue II, Victory Blue, and Emma Blue.
