I just heard the Wrongful Conviction podcast and was going to sign a petition for his release when I read the news of his passing. I am so sorry for your family that you did not get to see him free on this earth as he completely deserved. I am happy he is is a much much better place and I look forward to meeting him in heaven some day. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. He seemed like he was a wonderful man.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I’m beyond saddened to hear of this news! As a proud advocate for the Innocence Project, I only recently listened to John’s story told on Wrongful Conviction Podcast w/ Jason Flom in 2018. As I held back tears through the anger rushing to his website to do more, utter shock took over & unfathomable hurt filled my soul! I cannot express the feelings of absolute sorrow for the family, dedicated attorneys, friends & many many advocates who forever believe in your innocence, left behind. May you Rest In Peace a free man in Gods hands & be a bright guiding light as we fight harder than ever for the sacredness of your INNOCENT name that you so honorably deserve.
