John Wilson born January 26, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John H Wilson and Mable Billue Wilson. John had one daughter. John served in the US army, and them was employed at the Cleveland Post Office. After 30 years he retired at the age of 55. Soon thereafter he went to work at the Cleveland Plain Dealer where he also retired.

John was an avid Tennis player and has the pleasure to have lunch with Arthur Ash and Serena and Venus William’s sisters. John traveled several times to New York for The US Open tennis matches. He hung up the tennis racket at the age of 75 after facing health challenges. John was also a car enthusiast and owned several unique cars in his lifetime. He also loved music and singing and dancing.

He was preceded in death by siblings Willma Jean, Ronald, James, and Raymond. On 9-22-25 John was called home by the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He Leaves to Cherish his memories Daughter Renee Snipes (Steven) and his sister Thelma Wheeler and Brother Robert Wilson and Host of Nephews and Nieces and Great Nephews and Nieces, cousins, and friends.
