Johnny Buchanan passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 66. He was born in Akron Ohio on September 14, 1952. Johnny graduated from Buchtel High School in 1971. He retired from the City of Akron Water Department after many years of service. Johnny enjoyed bowling and casino trips with family and friends and his favorite trips were to the Atlantic City Boardwalk. He loved being the family photographer with an awesome collection of photo albums capturing decades of family gatherings. He loved getting dressed up and outright SHARP. His expansive wardrobe of electric blue suits would light up every event.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents Theodis and Alice Buchanan. He is survived by his son John A. Ewing; granddaughters Janasia and Kennedy Ewing; sisters Elizabeth (Robert) Arnold, Diane (Greg) Quinney, Rene (Donnell) Hilton, along with many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
