Johnny aka “John, Slaton, or Uncle Buddy” is survived by his devoted wife since 1973, Barbara; his admiring children Alycia and Erika, and his cherished sister Frances (Warren) and preceded in death by his dear mother Annie and son Gregory. Johnny was a former native of Orlando FL. and was a football and baseball team Alum of Jones High School in Orlando.

Johnny was a Proud Veteran and Sgt. of the US Marines. Former employee of Gould Industries (I.S.D. Division); 40+ year business owner in the Lee Harvard community (Alpha Electronics). Active member of Lee Road Baptist Church since 1978. Tenor in the Greater Cleveland Ensemble, Heritage Choral, Ecumenical Disciples Choir, and the Lee Road Baptist Church Sanctuary and Gospel Choirs and Male Chorus.

Volunteer at the Rev. William E. Sanders Family Life Center. Beloved by a host of family, friends, neighbors and extended family all over Cleveland, in Ohio, and the rest of the country.
