Johnny Warner Waller was born on October 10, 1937, in Shelby, North Carolina to the union of Samuel Waller (deceased) and Mamie Hargrove Waller (deceased). Johnny was the fourth child out of all of his siblings, (Gladys, Ocie, Samuel, and Annie Lou).
Johnny moved to Cleveland, Ohio at the age of 10 with his mother. He attended East High School. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Army. where he was stationed in Chicago, Korea, and Texas. He was also stationed in Vicenza, Italy where he met his wife Marcolina Waller. They were married 55 years, and from that union 5 children were born.
Later Johnny joined the Air Force, and they were stationed in Germany, Maine, Arkansas, and Dayton, Ohio. He worked as a Missile Guidance Technician and Electrician in the military. When he retired from the military, Johnny moved back to Cleveland, Ohio where he worked at General Electric, Sifco Steele, The City of Cleveland Hts., and Ford Motor Company where he retired in 2007.
Johnny loved fishing, gardening, and traveling. He loved watching movies and football on Sunday with his family. Johnny loved spending time on the computer recording music. He liked nice cars and was always dressed well. In his later years, he enjoyed listening to the Bible’s message.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Marcolina Waller, two daughters, Shelia Harris and Denis (Claude) New, four sons, Giovanni Waller (deceased), Marco (Bonita) Waller, Clayton Waller, Benjamin (Barbara) Waller, granddaughter Khaniesha Waller, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
