Joseph L Isaiah went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2019. He was born to the late Alex and Johnnie Lou Isaiah on, April 18, 1931. He made a decision for Christ at an early age.
He graduated from West High School and served in the United States Army where he fought in the Korean War with an honorable discharge. He was employed by Firestone for 30 years then went to work at Western Reserve Hospital where he retired after 15 years of service.
One of his greatest joys was working and mentoring the junior bowlers. For years every Saturday he spent his time coaching young people how to bowl and encouraging them to become successful adults. He himself bowled several 300 games.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Donovan, his brothers, Thomas, William, Marion Larry, James, Johnny, Alex and Richard; sisters, Thelma, Clara, and Mary.
He is survived by loving wife Joetta Isaiah, his children, Joseph Isaiah of Akron, OH and Allison Isaiah of Charlotte, NC; brother David (Melody) Isaiah and sister Martha (Donald) Adams all of Akron, OH; special cousin Kenny (Gloria) Larry and a host of nieces and nephews.
