Josephine E. Thomas went home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2021 at the age of 84. She leave to cherish her memorials her child: Vermell Harden. Siblings: brother-Joseph E. Brewster(Betty) sister-Helen L. Yates (Carter). Grandchildren: Julius L. Harden III & Je’Nae Harden. Great Grandchildren: Esmeralda Harden & Julius Harden IV.

It was wonderful to see everyone today. I remember Josephine always coming to visit us when we were kids. She continued to visit as we grew up and even after my Mom passed in 2001. We got to know Vermel through those visits and later her children Je'Nae and Jay and his children. It is good to be connected. Sometimes it is just by love and not by blood. I recall one day that I had missed seeing Josephine visit and I asked my Mommy, as I called her, "Where's Josephine?". After an exchange she told me to call her and I did. As a child I had a paper phone book and Josephine was in my book. I don't remember the conversation but I'm glad I called. I have to say, I no longer have to ask "Where's Josephine?" I know where she is. She is in Heaven with her siblings and parents and my Mom and Grandmother Ma'dear. Further her name was in the most important Book, the Lamb's Book of Life....eternal life. God's blessings of grace and peace.
