To The Reeds Family, You have my sincere condolences for the passing of your loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother.. I had the pleasure of having Ms. Julia as my hairdresser back in the late 80's.. I will always remember our conversations and her laughter and most of all her beautiful smile.
Neisha Perry Jackson left a message on January 17, 2018:
To the Reed family: I was so surprised to learn that Julia Mae, along with her sister Louise, who were our baby sitters from early years until we moved in January, 1956, had passed. I was even more shocked when I learned that she is at my place of employment and I took the original call. I didn't make the connection because I always called her Julia Mae. Her family lived behind our four family home on Grand Avenue. Mr. & Mrs. Lee and the girls were dear friends of our family. Julia Mae was a good nature person and would always keep you laughing. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
