Today, we celebrate the life of our loved one, and as we remember his presence in our lives……we reflect on his contagious hearty laughter……
his love for extravagant cuisine……especially seafood……the way he stood out in flamboyant dress, lavish vehicles, and ostentatious company.
This morning we celebrate Julius A. Gaddis, who on January 23, 2024, at 7:00AM answered God’s call after a lengthy illness of diabetes and renal failure.
The celebration of life for Julius A, Gaddis began at Metropolitan General Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, on October 21, 1949, to the union of Eunice L Gaddis and Julius Gaddis as their third child. Both parents have preceded him in death.
He attended the Cleveland Public School System, starting at George Washington Carver School and graduating from Thomas Edison High School where his primary studies focused on Horticulture. He gave his life to Christ at an early age by joining and being baptized by Rev. John C. Wimbush, Pastor of Corinthian Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ohio. As an adult Julius joined Sacred Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ohio under the pastorship of Rev. Joseph L. Blake Jr.
Julius worked at The Ford Motor Company and retired after 30 years of service. In his life, Julius had two marriages, two children and grandchildren. He leaves to celebrate his life, two Children; two Sisters:
Juliette Gaddis-Lewis and Eunice Z. Gaddis, both of Cleveland, Ohio; one Brother L. Julius Gaddis of Chicago Illinois; two Uncles: Wilbert E. Blake (Corine), of Cleveland, Ohio and Timothy H. Blake Sr. of Leeds, Alabama.
Another Aunt: Alice Blake of Cleveland, Ohio, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, 2nd, 3rd & 4th generation Cousins, and Friends.
He will always be affectionately remembered by his family and friends, thinking of him swaying from side to side involving us in his witty banter. In addition, when you would say to Julius, “See You Later”, he would reply “One Love” ………………………..
“One Love Julius”
