Kameron McKenzie Rubin, affectionately known as Baby Kameron, was born June 16, 1992, in Akron, Ohio to Kevin and Darletta Rubin.

As a child, Kameron attended Chapel Hill Christian School and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. In high school, he attended St. Vincent St. Mary High School. After graduating high school, he attended the Ohio University, and finished his education at Portage Lakes Career Center earning an Automotive Technician certification.

Kameron believed in God and was a member at The House of the Lord, under the pastorship of Bishop F.J. Johnson, II.

In 2016, Kameron established Dynamic Auto Performance and Service as the owner and operator providing automotive services to the community at great prices.

Besides loving automotive repair, stock market, and day trading – Kameron was an outstanding athlete! In 2009, while in high school he was a member of the STVM OHSAA State Championship basketball team and played 5 years on several semi-pro football teams; last playing with the Erie Express football team in Erie, PA. Kameron was a multiple time all-pro league champion, national champion, all-star, and team captain.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Spencer Butler, and grandmother, Ina Butler.

Kameron leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Kevin, and Darletta Rubin; uncles, Bryan (Tonya) Glass, Leslie (Jenn) Jones, and Lonnie (Bridgett) Jones; aunts, Teresa Sims, and Kim Glass; special cousin, Martele Glass; as well as a host of family and friends.

Darletta, I remember the story you told me while we were in the academy of you having to hide Baby Kam by putting him in the clothes hamper because you heard a strange noise in your house and needed to investigate! Our hearts are so heavy and sadden by the news of Kameron's passing. Our son, Alfred Earl, II, and Kameron were schoolmates at CVCA and attended many youth activities with Kameron at The House of the Lord. I can so clearly remember Kameron's infectious smile and delightful disposition. This is, in deed, a great loss. Our heartfelt prayers are go out to Kevin and Darletta, and family.
