Born to Clyde Varner Sr. and Minnie Ruth Varner, she was raised with strong family values, a deep sense of faith, and a commitment to serving others. She attended Robinson Elementary, Goodyear Middle School, East High School, and later continued her education at Hiram College.

Throughout her life, she remained active in both her church and community. She was a proud member of Eastern Star Chapter 172 and began nurturing her faith at an early age as a member of the Bethel Baptist Junior Choir. Her dedication to ministry continued throughout her life as she faithfully served as a Trustee at Dayspring Church in Canton, OH. She was known for her willingness to help others and her unwavering commitment to her church family.

She was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Accounts Receivable, where she worked diligently and built lasting relationships with those who knew and worked alongside her. She carried herself with professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic throughout her career.

In her leisure time, she found great joy in reading books and spending time with her loved ones. Whether sharing conversations, creating memories with family, or simply enjoying the company of those she cared about, she treasured every opportunity to be surrounded by family and friends. Her loving spirit, wisdom, and caring heart touched the lives of many and will be remembered for years to come.

She was preceded in death by Clyde Varner Sr., Minnie Ruth Varner, Clyde Varner Jr., and Rhonda Varner.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Damon (Takojia) Respress and Brandon Respress; siblings, Delores Varner, Dennis (Monique) Young Sr., Kimberly Copeland, and Keith (Tamatha) Varner; grandchildren, Marvon, Dayshon, Deja, Marquel, Arianna, K’lah, Aiden, Alanna, and Kyrah; four great-grandchildren; aunt, Bessie Beasley; nieces and nephews, Mackenzie Ivory, Nathan Hill Jr., Kiara Williamson, Brian Hill, Keith (Monet) Varner Jr., Rynell Varner, Kevin Varner, Chenelle Varner, Elijah Varner, and Isaiah Varner; special friend, Lizzie Green; and a host of family and friends.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she shared, the faith she demonstrated, and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of devotion to family, service to her church, and compassion for others will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
