Kelly Candow was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on April 16, 1974, to her late parents, Robert & Margaret Candow. She grew up in the North Collinwood and Euclid area.
She attended Villa Angela St. Joseph’s High School, graduating with the class of ’92. Kelly pursued her RN degree and graduated from Ursuline College in 2000. A passionate traveler, she journeyed across states and even visited different countries. Her extensive collection of photographs made you feel as if you had experienced the trips alongside her.
Kelly’s love knew no bounds; whether blood-related or not, she embraced everyone. As a single mother, she worked tirelessly to provide for and raise her children. Welcoming her grandchildren, Autumn and Zyaire, brought her immense pride. You could often find them sharing lunch or breakfast together whenever she had a free moment. An avid swimmer, Kelly could be found by the poolside or at the beach, soaking up the sun and completing her laps. Her culinary skills not only nourished many children but also brought people together.
She cherished her friendships dearly, always ready to offer support to those in need. Through her closest friends—the Plona family, the Welsh family, the Roskelly family, the Eff family, the Ross family, and countless others—Kelly created a vast, loving family network. Her friends embraced her and her children as their own, contributing to their upbringing. Kelly will be deeply missed by many, and her love for all of you remains eternal.
Kelly is survived by her son Zach, daughters Gabriella and Trinity, grandchildren Autumn and Zyaire, and older brother Kevin.
