Kelvaughn Quinton Debarlaben, affectionately known as “Q,” passed away on November 21, 2024, at the age of 20. He was born on February 20, 2004, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Anita Shaunte Debarlaben. Kelvaughn graduated from Shaw High School in 2022. He had a passion for reading comic books, watching comedy shows, boxing matches, and spending time with family and friends. Known for his infectious smile, Kelvaughn was always willing to help others, and he lived a simple life.

He is survived by his brothers, Giovonte Debarlaben, Ryon Debarlaben, Joshua Debarlaben, and Logan Debarlaben; his beloved parent, Ryan Smith; his grandparents, Teresa Debarlaben and David Mockabee, along with special grandparents Twila and Thomas Norris and great-grandmother Fannie Bishop. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anita Shaunte Debarlaben Smith and great grandmother Anita Lois Mockabee.
