Kelvin “Bo” Andrew Bedell, 63, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born September 25, 1962, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Wallace and Kathleen Bedell, Bo was a proud graduate of Warrensville Heights High School. He worked at PPG, later Shaker Auto Towing, and eventually became self-employed.
Bo was known for his quick wit, love of old-school cars, dogs, music, and legendary backyard barbecues. He loved spending time with family and friends and made every effort to attend Grandparents Day, cookouts, ceremonies, and Bike Weeks. Above all, Bo believed in loyalty, honesty, and keeping your word. He also took pride in teaching his grandchildren valuable life lessons, especially the importance of loving, protecting, and standing up for one another.
There are people you meet, people you remember, and then there are people who become a part of who you are. Bo was that person. He was a presence that could not be replaced-a man whose laughter could fill a room, whose words carried weight, and whose loyalty meant everything. He lived life in his own way, loved his family fiercely, and left his mark on everyone blessed enough to know him.
Bo was not simply a loved one; he was a legend. His stories will be told, his lessons will be passed down, his laughter will echo through family gatherings, and his name will continue to be spoken with love. His life may have come to an end, but his legacy has not. A legend never truly leaves us-they live on through the people they loved the lives they touched, and the memories they left behind.
Bo leaves to cherish his memory his companion of more than 20 years, Tonie Perry; his siblings Mark Bedell, Wallace Bedell, and Monica Bedell (Curtis-Zero); children, Kelvin Bedell Jr., Marion Clark, Kelisa Williams, Kelasha Dudley (Deonte), Mercedes Bedell, and Vincent Johnson Bedell; bonus children Anthony, Quisha, and LaShawna Perry; his 26 grandchildren, who lovingly called him Pa Pa; two great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Kathleen Bedell, and his brother, Darcell Bedell.
Bo’s laughter, his stories, his wisdom, his stubbornness, his sense of humor, and the love he gave wholeheartedly will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His grandchildren will carry his lessons. His children will carry his name. His family will carry his memories. And those who loved him will carry a piece of him wherever they go.
The world has lost a great man, but Heaven has gained a legend.
Rest peacefully, Legend Bo. Your work here is done, but your legacy will live forever. You will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever be remembered.
Until we meet again, Pa Pa. ❤️
