KENNETH D. MURPHY went home to be with the Lord on August 27, 2017.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife Pearl. Loving father of Larry Rencher (Michelle) and Terrell Murphy. Proud grandfather of eight grandchildren; Larry Darnell, Amber Nicole, Alexxis, Tiffany, Jeremiah, Jael, Jaylin and Ariel. Great-grandpa of Darien, Aniya, Ayden and Arianna. One sister, Loretta Lewis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Our deepest condolence to Kenneth's wife Pearl and sons Larry and Terrell. I grew up with Kenneth in the country and we spent many days as we lived very close to each other in the neighborhood. Kenneth was such a compassionate, loveable, generous and kind person and we will certainly miss him. Both my wife and I knew him and kept in touch with him over the years. He had a gift for remembering those he came in contact with; relatives, friends and classmates. And, he was the most talkative person we've ever met. We will miss him. God Bless!
