Kenneth “Ken” Kansy was born to the union of the late Benedict and Irene Kansy on December 13,1942. On Thursday July 2, 2026, at 6:28 pm, Ken left his earthly body to be with the LORD. He leaned heavily on his faith, often spoke to loved ones and friends about his favorite scripture, Matthew 6:9-13 “The Lord’s Prayer”. Ken attended John Adams and continued his education at Case Western Reserve. He always rooted for the underdog. This passion led him to work for Ohio Employment Service and Consumer Protection Association. He’s proceeded in death by his brother Gilbert (Gil) Kansy. Ken joined into holy matrimony on October 8, 1988, to Frances “Elaine” Green affectionately known as “DeeDee”. Ken enjoyed a good conversation with anyone. He never met a stranger. He always spoke his mind and had great incite on everything and shared his knowledge no matter what. Being outdoors brought him great pleasure. He spent many years camping, hiking, biking, walking, snow sledding and driving. Other favorites include books and all types of music. While engaging in these activities, you’ll often hear him say “I Feel Good”. Ken leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife Frances Kansy; sister-in-law Alice (James, dec.) Hale; nieces and nephews: Alicia (George) Anderson, Anna (Tony, dec.) Tichenor, Mary Green, Jalice (Ceddrick) Lawson, Betty Fae (Edward) Underwood; great nieces and nephews: Andy Tichenor, Kimberly (Steve) Riggins, Kevin Woods, Cedric Anderson, Alicia Anderson, Terrell (wife) Underwood, Sherrita (husband) Drake; cousins: Annette Jann, Tracy (Thomas) Edwards, Shelley (Dan) Beres, Leslie (Jim) Hoehn, a host of great great nieces, nephews and cousins.
We will forever cherish his memory, and we will always love him.
