Kenneth Watkins Bell was the baby of eleven siblings born September 23, 1935, to the late Kibbie and Nora Bell in Vidalia, Georgia. His life was multidimensional, father, uncle, defender, and friend. He enjoyed boxing, his Harley, an avid car enthusiast, and meticulous in his appearance. Father was a constant student of the Word of God.
Daddy was affectionately known as “Uncle Kenny” to the family. He loved to praise God, sing, and dance. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dad was one of the founding fathers of the ZULUS motorcycle club in Akron, OH.
He attended Akron Garfield High School until he enlisted in the United States Air-force serving as a Military Police Officer. Upon returning to Akron, Brother Kenny served in ministry and became a father to seven children. Through scripture and song of praise, Dad would spread the word of God, console his children, and often served as a family mediator. Dad was truly a funny person and some of our fondest memories are the dancing and sing along.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Simon, Willie, James, Layeth, Cleo, Alva Mae, Marteal, Irene, Sarah, and Howard; granddaughter, Christine Victoria Claytor.
He leaves to cherish his memory seven children, Antoinette Bell-Claytor; Kim Bell-West; Kenneth Bell; Frankie Bell-Griffin (Carlton); Richard Bell (Shetoria); Chanieca Bell-Hudson (Cortez), the union Honey Bell: Angela Bell to the union Denise Bolar and Tamara Taylor-Bell; sister-in-law, Louise Bell; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of family members, nieces, nephews, friends, and associates.
