Kent Andrew Ferguson Jr. was born in Akron, OH on March 8, 1971 to Kent Andrew Ferguson Sr. and Deborah Adams Jones. Kent graduated from Akron Buchtel High School and attended Fortis College where he graduated and obtained his certification in HVAC. He was also a certified welder, as well as a laborer.

Kent previously attended and was baptized at First Apostolic Faith Church under Bishop Samuel L. Hampton Sr. He was a proud member of the U.S. Army where he served active duty and was a marksman from 1991-1993. His favorite past time and special interests included fishing and football.

Kent was preceded in death by his son, Sesean Giles; brother, Bruce Lee; step-father, Ivan W. Brown; and grandparents, Andrew, Phinelapha, Henry Dumas Adams (Daisy) and Iva Marie Adams.

Kent leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife, Tia Wilson Ferguson; his father, Kent Andrew Ferguson Sr (Dawn); his mother, Deborah Adams Jones (Kevin); his only living grandparent, Douglas Henry Jones, Jr.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Richard and Linda Wilson. He also leaves his sisters, Nichole (Juan), Jacqueline, Jamilla and Diane; his brothers, Jermaine (Carmen), Curtis (Jackie), Ivan and Pat; his daughters, Kymel, Gloria, Aniecia King and Imani Wilson; his son, Tyshawn Austin; his brothers-in-law, Richard Wilson II (Karla) and Myric Wilson; sister-in-law, Melinda (Wilson) Smith (John); his five grandchildren, Ivionna Prince, Ky’Mier Prince, Grayson Ferguson, Kenneth Henderson III and Zara Wilson Townsend; as well as host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

It's been almost 3 years and I still think of you. I miss you so much. Not being able to hear your voice, even though I can still hear your voice in my head, is very hurtful. Rest well son. I know you're ok because serveral of us have had dreams about you and I know what kind of relationship you had with the Father. Love you son. Gone but never, never, never forgotten.

Kent was so kind I remember I couldn't figure out what was wrong with the washing machine..he called me on messenger so I could go in the basement and tell him exactly what it was doing...then told me to call so and so to help me fix it...❤️ just a wonderful human being

I thank God that he brought this man into my life, while we waited to get online with our Veterans Fraternity. Kent became a little brother to me, we checked on one another, we argued/fussed at one another but as brothers do! I grew to love this man as a brother, and I will truly miss him and his blunt honesty. God truly got an angel and we lost a great man/brother. .
