Kevin Joseph Lockett was born on November 24, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio to the union of Sarah & James Lockett, Jr.  He was the youngest of four children.  He enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together. Kevin could often be found fixing a bike or tinkering under the hood of a car at a young age.

Kevin attended Glenville High School. He began a career at Ford Motor Company where he retired after many dedicated years of service.  He had many interests which included riding his motorcycle, a fond love of cars, playing chess, pool, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.  Kevin lived life to the fullest.

His friendly smile, quick wit, sense of humor, and keen sense of style will be greatly missed by those close to him.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Sarah and James Lockett Jr. Memories of love, laughter, and fun will be held dear by his son, Kevin Bowie (Aneesah), granddaughter Kaci Bowie, sisters:  Deborah Reed (Barberton, Ohio), Earleane Clemons (Cleveland, Ohio), Karen Bellamy (Everett) (Annapolis, Maryland), Anthony Hawley Jr. (nephew), Sonya Russell (niece), James Hawley (nephew, preceded in death), Alexander Evans (nephew), Christopher Jenkins (great-nephew), significant other Karen Allen, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
