Khylar Jayce Maxwell, aka “Sonny”, was born on May 29, 2016, in Akron, Ohio to Mykia Maxwell and Deshawn Elmore. He returned to his heavenly home on July 24, 2018.
Sonny loved to watch movies like, “The Little Rascals” (and he knew every word), “Moana”, “Trolls”, “Shrek” and “Boss Baby.” He liked to sing, play with his sister and eat. He had a hearty appetite.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Maxwell; great-grandfather Clarence Maxwell; great grandmother, Carolyn Maxwell; great great grandmother, Mary Hopkins, great great grandmother, Mary Hatten; uncle, Anthony Norman, Jr. and aunt, Kimberla McAdory.
Sonny is survived by mother, Mykia Maxwell; father, Deshawn Elmore; sister, Malaysia; brothers, Jacob, Noah, Isaiah and Aiden; grandmothers, Candi McAdory, Nina Elmore and Donika Jones; aunts, SheMonique, Michelle, Monet, Cheryl, Vanessa, Rika, Myka, Daysha, Erica and Jakasia; uncles, Dontay, David, Brandon, Darshawn and Ronelle; great grandparents, Willie Mae (Larry) Hicks, Elwin Townsend and Cleveland (Ilene) Hatten; special friends, Daniel (Bridgett) Long and family, Tanya, Shay, Carnae, Steph and Kenny Amos and a host of other extended family and friends.
