Kimberly Lynn Hightower, 63, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 12, 2025.

Born on August 7, 1961, Kimberly was the beloved daughter of the late Jeanette and
Kenneth Reed. She was preceded in death by her sister Rhonda Sherman, her memory is
cherished by her brothers Keith Reed and Reginald Reed. She was a woman full of life,
laughter, and love – devoted to her family and known for her warm spirit and wise words.

Kimberly shared a beautiful life with the love of her life, Ronnie Hightower Sr. She was the
proud mother of Daryl Reed and Ronnie Hightower Jr. Her greatest joy was her family, and
she was especially proud of her grandchildren – Ronnia Hightower, Carmesha Hightower,
and Ronnie Hightower III – as well as her great grandchild R’Mani Farrey-Hightower.
Kimberly’s love extended far beyond her immediate family, touching a host of cousins,
nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends

A dedicated caregiver, Kimberly worked as an independent provider, where her
compassion and strength touched many lives. She had a magnetic personality and could
get along with anyone. She lived with grace and flair – known for her impeccable style, love
of cooking and good food, and her joy in spending quality time with those she loved.
Whether she was going on dates, fishing, playing bingo or going to the casino she brought
warmth and elegance to every moment.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her fierce love, her unforgettable
presence and the way she made every space feel like home.
