Krystal Sharese Moreland of East Cleveland, OH, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019. She was born December 6, 1990 to Walter Lee Moreland and the late Linda Marie Yarbrough Moreland.

In 2009, Krystal attended Shaw High School, where she was an avid sports fanatic, including her love for the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Krystal could out chat anyone about sports in general! She had a great love for her parents, aunts, brothers, and many cousins. When Krystal knew you loved her, she showed that love back tenfold. She was a tremendous person with many friends and had a huge personality.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Krystal is survived by her father, Walter (Sara Reed) Moreland; her brothers Brian Yarbrough, Keith (Shawntora Aljeleel) Yarbrough, Walter (Larry Rackley) Moreland, Marcelous McCreary, Michael (Sara) Moreland, and Kevin (Megan) Moreland; her aunts, uncles Helen Poole, Zenobia Chambers, Rosa (Penny) Moreland, Shirley Ann Alexander, Sharon (Thomas) Newell, Gale Appleton, Margie R. Morris, Peggy Chambers, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Moreland, and uncle, Alfred Johnson.

Krystal’s family will receive guests from 2 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Calhoun Funeral Home, 17010 Lakeshore Blvd., Cleveland, OH, 44110. A wake will be held at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, also at Calhoun Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, 5505 Northfield Rd., Bedford Heights, OH 44146.
