Latosha Evans blessed the world on December 25, 1976 and granted the earth with a beautiful gift. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Patricia Ann Gross and alphonso Lee Cunningham.
Latosha attended Ohio Perry School, Health Career Center, and most recently Marion Technical College.
Not a moment passed when she didn’t walk hand and hand with God. She had mastered the form of mime and blessed many with her version of spreading God’s love. Latosha was never short on family and friends. She made many friends and loved ones along her journey. Evena as her journey would change course, all the stops along the way she touched so many.
She loved the next great adventure whether it was cooking out at the lake or just visiting with friends and family. She never met a stranger and had kind words for everyone she met. Latosha’s heart was full of love, although no one could doubt she enjoyed every moment of the conversation with a much younger crowd.
Her two beautiful daughters Monique and Courtnesha could have never made her more proud. She had a glow when she spoke with them from their accomplishments to future roads they were to travel. You could always tell that being their mother by far was her greatest accomplishment.
True love never glowed more bright than when she spoke about her grandkids. From her first born Karter and soon followed “her twins” Kacee and MaKanlee to her miracle Eziekiel. In the last 10 years she has added a few more to ones she opened her heart to. Xander was definitely her “getting into trouble” buddy and also Ronnie, Mycha, and Lyla would follow right behind.
She had a glowing smile whenever she would talk to her great niece E’lani.
Just as Latosha loved so many, so many people loved her. Whenever you called her Latosha, Tosha, mom, T-Man, or Queen there was definitely a life full love. Over the years Latosha had become an inspiration to many others to give her testimony. To listen to her speak was inspirational.
She is preceded in death by her father Alphonso Lee Cunningham, her late husband Hammond Yasin, along with many aunts, uncles, and other family. Her heart was deeply sorrowed by her best friend Shonnie’s passing who she is now reunited with.
Those whose hearts will rejoice at her entrance into God’s arms and will miss her until they meet again. Amy McDonald (her significant other), Monique and Kenneth Boyd (daughter and son-in-law), Courtnesha Walter (daughter), her grandchildren Karter Bord, Kacee Boyd, MaKanlee Boyd, and Eziekiel Mills, her mother Patricia Ann Gross, brother George Evans, and Lena Crawford, brother Charles Evans, Alexis Evans (niece), George Evans (nephew), along with Amy’s children and grandchildren.
In the midst of her journey, she will be watching over all her loved ones until God calls them home.
