Lafayetta Monice Gales-Talley went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2020. Lafayetta was preceded in death by her father, Raymond L. Scott, Jr. and grandfather, Austin Gales.

Lafayetta leaves to mourn her loss husband, Eric Tyronne Talley; mother, Diane G. Scott; children, Terrell, Eric Jr., Pierre, Patrick, and William; siblings, Solomon R. Scott, Gabriel A. Scott, Dr. Nehemiah D. Scott, Rajenay M. Scott, and Aungelique G. Scott; and 18 grandchildren. In addition to, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
