I am shocked to hear of Monta's passing. He was one of the best and most genuine people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I met him years ago at Beachwood Mall when he started at The Art of Shaving. I experienced my first hot shave from him and then I was lucky enough to start getting my hair cut by him for many years thereafter. I remember going to the Barber College on Broadway every week or so and getting my hair cut my him. I never felt fresher than after a cut and shave by his skilled hands. Monta was absolutely a legend. I know that he touched many people with his kindness and wisdom. The world really lost an amazing man and no number of words on a page can really encompass the magnitude of his presence. Rest in Heaven my friend.
