Laneka D. Oliver of Akron, OH, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital. She was born April 15, 1985, to Mary L. Oliver and Larry D. Belton, Sr. She moved to Warren, OH in 2000 and attended Warren G. Harding High School and also went to Garfield High School in Akron. She worked most recently as an independent provider through the State of Ohio.

Laneka was fun-loving, loved hard, and enjoyed scaring people. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed listening to music. She was active in her community as a cheerleading coach for Warren Little Raiders and started a group for young girls. Laneka was close to God and his Word. She adored her kids and her boyfriend, Donovan. Most importantly, she will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry D. Belton, Sr.; grandparents, Robert and Madeline Oliver, Leo Belton, Sr., Joe and Odelia Burell; aunts, Barbara Oliver and Diane Belton; uncles, Robert Oliver, Wardell Oliver and Lorenzo Belton.
