Larretta Ann Allison

Larretta Ann Allison (36) affectionately known as “Rett”, was a radiant light whose spirit touched everyone she met. She transitioned from this life on October 28, 2026. Leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and love that will never fade.

Larretta was born on October 11, 1990, in Ravenna, Ohio. She graduated from Firestone High School in Akron, Ohio and worked as a home health aide for many years.

Laretta was a kind and gentle soul whose contagious laughter and loving heart made everyone feel welcomed. She cherished the time she spent with family and friends, enjoyed listening to music, playing videogames, capturing special moments through pictures, and making lasting memories with the people she loved.

Her beautiful spirit and presence could brighten any room, and her kindness and compassion touched the hearts of so many. Of all the roles “Rett” held in her life, none was more precious than being a mother. Her two beautiful children were among the greatest loves of her life, and the love she had for them will forever remain a part of who they are. Although her time here on earth was far too short, the love she shared, the joy she brought, and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of everyone blessed to have known her.

Left to celebrate her memory and carry her light forward are her children, Nasir (9) and Nori (7) Miller, her devoted mother Elizabeth Mims, sister Denea (Kenneth) Burton of Akron, OH, brothers Kaylin Mack of Ravenna, OH, Khyrie (Janaya) Primm of Brimfield, OH, and Kesean Primm of Kent, OH. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Adrian Mims and Carolyn Mims of Kent, OH, Clifton (Tanya) Mims of Ashtabula, OH, Micky (Gloriosa) Hadden, Rodney Mack, and Jason Mack of Ravenna, OH, Denesha Williams of North Carolina, Akilah Farrakhan of Kent, OH, and Aziza (Charles) Carswell of Ravenna, OH. Several nieces and nephews, Aniyah & Kenyan Mack of Kent, OH, Jeremiah Burton of Akron, OH, Kai’Sen Christian of Brimfield, OH as well as special cousins Sly(Jeanise), Janay, Ashley, Courtney, Mackie, Monique, Quetta, Cliffy and a host of several other dear cousins, friends and extended family members to cherish her memory.
