Larry Ardis Dotson, 32, passed away suddenly on Sunday March 31, 2024. Larry was born in Barberton, Ohio, the son of LaQuinta Kelly and Larry Dotson.
Larry attended Douglas County High School for his Freshman and Sophomore years in Douglasville, Ga and graduated from McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio. Larry became an apprentice under his mother’s Master Barber License and began working at his mother’s business Clippers Of Douglasville from the age of 11- 16 years old. He recently enrolled in truck driving school in Massillon, Ohio He was self employed. Larry is renowned for being a perfect gentleman, being a devoted father, his sense of humor, loving and generous spirit, and looking out for everyone in need. He loved shopping and looking good, music, and comedy.
Larry is preceded in death by his daughter TLaura Dotson of Canton, Oh; grandparents LaVaunn “Bonnie” Parker and Willie “Joe” Parker of Akron, Oh; and Edna Gaston of Forrest, MS
Larry is survived by his mother LaQuinta (Sam) Kelly; father Larry Dotson (Fiancee TKeitha) of N. Carolina; sisters Leona Christian of Akron; LaTasha Dotson; of Detroit; Aunts LaTonya Parker of Akron; Mary Dotson of N. Carolina; Nephew Leighton Christian; Devoted friend Mercedes Mack; and three beautiful children Loriana Dotson; Ma’Lasia Dotson; and JaKhi Redrick. A host of cousins, family members, and acquaintances He will be dearly missed, always remembered, and never forgotten.
