Larry “Man” Garrett, Jr. passed away on September 26, 2018. He was born on September 25, 1983 to parents, Larry and Carla Garrett. He lived in Akron, Ohio and attended Akron Public Schools. During his schooling years, he loved boxing and playing the drums at the Good Shepherd Gym, where he quickly earned the name “Truck”. “Man” also liked to wrestle in junior high and played football in high school. He graduated from Central-Hower High School in 2003. He was also well known for his love of laughing and joking around with his family and friends.
He married Krystal Phillips on February 22, 2004 and they have four (4) beautiful children.
Larry was preceded in death by grandparents, Cornell and Carolyn Green, Cecil Davis and Sue Hugley.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Larry and Carla Garrett; wife, Krystal Garrett; children, Kolia, Karmella, Larry Garrett, Jr. and Amad Garrett; sisters, Tanya (Chevy) Hickson and Elisa Garrett; brother, Zabian (Carmelita) Davis and Isayah Hickson; grandparents, Elisha and Hannah Garrett and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
