Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 11:00 AM, at STEWART & CALHOUN FUNERAL HOME, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307. Interment at Glendale Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to 382 Buckingham St., Akron, OH 44306.

Larry Grant was born on October 14, 1964.  He was a lifetime resident of Akron, Ohio.

He attended Akron Public Schools and later worked for Goodwill Industries of Akron. He was also an avid      Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

Larry was a loving person and will be missed by his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ulysses Grant; mother, Flora Grant Cannon, and sister, Angela Shadie.

Larry is survived by his sisters, Kim (Vincent) Waldron and Geraldine Grant; brothers, Alonzo,  Alfonzo, and Terry (Kyla) Grant; a host of other nieces and nephews; and his extended family, John and Debbie Vrabel.

Larry was one of my all time favorite people. He smiled, and said hi to everyone he knew everyday.. I drove Larry to work everyday and he always wanted to go as long as their were reese cups in his lunch. We would listen to sports radio and we played Paul Simmons 'You Can Call Me Al' on the way home on Tuesday and Friday. I will always think of Larry and thank God for introducing us..
