Larry Edwards was born August 2, 1958 in Atmore Alabama to the union of the late Jacob & Sarah Edwards, Larry graduated from Escambia County Senior High School. Lary then Went on to Reid State Technical College of Evergreen Al, where he received an associate in Automobile Technology. Larry then moved to Detroit, Michigan where he was employed at the Chrysler Plant. Larry’s siblings called him a gypsy because over the course of years to come, he lived in Birmingham, Alabama; Indiana, Atlanta, Georgia; and Boston, Massachusetts. Larry then came to Cleveland Ohio where he worked At Larry’s Auto Clinic where he retired, doing what he loved. Larry was a hard worker throughout his life. Larry was the life of the party, he loved to dance, play his music, and cheat at a good game of spades. But most of all he loved God and his family. Larry was a very kind man. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help someone in need. Larry was a faithful member of Good Shepard Church of Euclid, Ohio.

Larry is proceed in death by his parents Jacob & Sarah Edwards, two brothers Jacob Edwards Jr. and John Leslie Edwards. Larry is survived by his son Larry Dortch (Tracey), his daughter Ashley Robinson (Cosby), Audia Robinson (Rico), step daughter Carolyn Neciey Dortch-Banks (Delwuan). Significant other Deborah Dortch, Grand Children; Aryon Dortch, Destynee Dortch, Larry Dortch Jr., Delwuan Banks Jr., Jada Banks, Andre Mullins, Alexander Mullins, Avery Mullins (Tania), siblings ; Sallie Mcluer (Charlotte, NC), Vonnie Miles, Sarah Edwards, and Annie Craft (Atlanta, GA), Eugene Edwards (Atmore, AL), Doris Collins (Springfield Gardens, NY), 13 nieces and nephews., 15 great nieces and nephews, and 1 great great great nephew.
